Eclipse of Ascension is a sculptural meditation on rebirth, duality, and transcendence.
At its pinnacle, a twin-headed phoenix rises in symmetrical authority — a rare symbol of dual consciousness: destruction and renewal, past and future, mortality and immortality. Its wings unfold in a commanding gesture, forming both shield and crown.
Beneath, grounded figures strain upward, embodying the tension between the earthly and the divine — a narrative of ascent, struggle, and transformation. The composition draws from mythological archetypes while remaining distinctly contemporary in its execution.
The absence of colour in this form emphasizes structure, shadow, and detail — allowing the sculpture’s anatomy and craftsmanship to speak without distraction. Every feather, curve, and contour is deliberate, forming a unified vertical movement toward transcendence.
